"I asked a mutual friend if they were still in contact with a realtor they had spoke about a few years back. Shortly after our conversation I received a text from Willow Haverley. We introduced ourselves and established a friendly / professional report and set a time for an initial visit with my wife and I.The meeting went very well. Willow was very personable as well as sensitive to our needs. We discussed, at length the “what if’s” of the market, possible strategies to benefit from the hot market as well as the potential downsides before, during, and after the sell. She made sure we understood the process to sell our house was unique to us and she would advise strategies to compliment and advance the sale price of our home.We spent more than a little time discussing the provisions outlined in the revised NC realtor contract and made sure we received a copy of the signed contract.There are many substantive and meaningful examples of the positive outcomes we achieved under her guidance. I will share a major one.The market is very robust at the time of this review and just as finicky from one day to the next. My wife and I decided to initially list the property at the top of the market hoping to attract a buyer with deep pockets. Our property was 10 years old, approximately 4200 SQ ft and original construction with builders grade finishes. Our listing was live on Thursday, received 4 or 5 requests for showing, and the subsequent comments of those showings were lackluster at best. Willow and I had a conversation on pricing and other factors in the selling process 5 days into the selling process. I dropped the price by roughly 15%. Willow sent out notices to the field of agents. We received, I think, 9 request for showings the 2nd weekend and 2 offers for approximately 95% of original asking price. We accepted the offer Willow advised as the best offer which included a $20K due diligence check. We closed in 40 days or so with no meaningful contractional hurdles to recall.Throughout the process Willow went to great lengths to let us know she would always respond to any form of communication we initiated. Whether she was in town, out of town, on personal holiday, business trip, up to 10:00pm or as early as 6 or 7 in the morning. I tested her commitment to this standard and without fail, Willow always responded in a timely manner. It seemed like the standard was within minutes. Most of her responses were detailed within those minutes of waiting. If she was tied down with another client she would still respond to let me know her current status and shared when she would get back to me with the required details and then she did. To sum up Willows commitment to her craft as a realtor; if Willow tells you something she is going to do, she does it. She has a high degree of ability to work unsupervised. IMHO, in order to manage multiple projects you have to be highly competent, committed, and honest. Full stop!Some realtors have less than stellar business practices. Some of those practices are intentional and others may be from a lack of expertise and more importantly, average legal standards and questionable morals and ethics in general.Willow Haverley is a consummate professional in every meaning of the terms expertise, professional, way above average ethical demeanor, communicator, and an expert in the field of real estate and its peripheral support business groups.If you are looking to sell your real estate property the smart money would call Willow Haverley at your local Charlotte ReMax office. "Willow helped us secure a great home in the tightest market in recent memory. We lived three hours away and couldn't make trips as houses became available. The weekend we visited, all of the houses we were scheduled to see (both existing and new construction) went under contract. Willow quickly shifted to showing us neighborhoods where houses would likely become available so we could be ready. Three days after returning home, we had a virtual tour and went under contract for the perfect home. We paid the asking price and even got a little bit in closing costs. This can be directly attributed to a realtor who knew the market, understood her buyers and knew what was reasonable in price and concessions. "My wife and I cannot recommend Willow enough. If it wasn't for her, there's no way we would have landed our dream house. We were looking for a home in an extremely competitive market, where many buyers were making sight unseen cash offers - something we were unable to do. Willow was able to arrange for us to see our house early and fortunately our offer was accepted. Willow was incredibly responsive and made us feel like we were a priority every time we interacted.
